Information No. 7 of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Lodz University of Technology of 5 May, 2020 on the retrieval of personal belongings from the dormitories of Lodz University of Technology during the period of suspension of direct-contact classes at the university in the wake of the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak

 

You are hereby informed that in connection with the extension of the period of evacuation of TUL dormitories, the residents of TUL dormitories who have evacuated their dormitory rooms in the wake of the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak shall have the opportunity to collect their personal belongings from the student dormitories according to the following rules:

  1. Contact the administration of the dormitory by phone or by e-mail to arrange for the date of waiving occupancy of the room and collecting personal items that you have previously left there.
  2. Retrieval of personal items will proceed Monday to Friday during the hours: 8:00 – 14:00.
  3. The date and time of collection should be agreed by phone or by e-mail with the administration of the dormitory, with the stipulation that a maximum of 6 students shall be allowed to retrieve their belongings from each dormitory on a particular day.
  4. The retrieval of personal items and waiving occupancy of the room shall proceed according to the rules applicable when the student permanently vacates the room.
  5. Persons entering the building must be wearing protective masks (face coverings) and hand gloves. They must sign-in and sign-out at the reception desk of the dormitory. Furthermore, they must maintain at least 2 meters' distance from any person they may encounter on the premises of the dormitory.
  6. Residents collecting their belongings shall not be allowed to stay overnight at the dormitory.

 

The rules specified above are effective as of May 5, 2020.
