On the organization of exams and final tests in the winter semester of the academic year 2020/21.

1. I would like to inform and explain that, as a consequence of the applicable restrictions on the functioning of universities related to the prevention, prevention and combating of COVID-19, in the winter semester of the 2020/21 academic year, the following arrangements for the organization of exams and final tests apply to all forms and levels of study at Lodz University of Technology:

2. The learning outcomes achieved by students and doctoral students may be verified only remotely, with the use of distance learning methods and tools.
This includes all types and forms of oral and written tests and examinations, including diploma examinations.
Only the organization of a competence examination may be excluded from this general rule, which, in accordance with the Announcement No. 21/2020 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of December 11, 2020 on amendments to the Announcement No. 18/2020 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of October 16, 2020, is admitted to be implemented directly at the University, in accordance with the provisions introduced by the Regulation No. 48/2020 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of September 17, 2020, and the decision in each case is made by the dean responsible for the implementation of a given study program.

3. Verification of learning outcomes in the remote mode is organized and takes place in accordance with Appendix No. 1 to Regulation No. 50/2020 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of October 5, 2020 entitled Rules of conducting final tests and examinations with the use of distance learning methods and tools.
