Ladies and gentlemen,
This is further information on the COVID-19 vaccination process:
1. The Ministry of Education and Science introduced an amendment to the announcement and the vaccination system may apply to teachers born after December 31, 1955, and not as initially communicated after December 31, 1956.
2. We remind you that the following persons will be registered for vaccination:
1. academic teachers whose primary place of work is Lodz University of Technology;
2. industry specialists who have a currently signed contract for running the classes;
3. PhD students who conduct classes in the winter semester or will conduct classes in the summer semester and have been reported / declared by the heads of units by delivering "Statements of other persons running teaching classes in a specific field of study" to Lodz University of Technology Centre for Teaching and Learning or in response to a letter from the vice-rector for education; provided that the application is submitted on the Wikamp platform.
3. Industry specialists who will have signed contracts during the next semester (the Ministry of Education and Science has not yet confirmed this information) will be reported for vaccination after entering them into the POL-on system. The reminder of the procedure will be sent to the heads of units by the vice-rector for education.
4. A person who has not yet completed the form, but wishes to vaccinate, is asked to register as soon as possible (no later than February 18, 2021, 12:00) on the Wikamp platform at the following address:

5. Currently, vaccination does not cover:
1. administration staff;
2. technical staff;
3. maintenance staff.
6. The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland is making efforts to vaccinate also administration, technical and maintenance employees.
7. We currently do not have confirmed information on the dates of vaccination.
8. The place of vaccination will be the Laser Diagnostics and Therapy Centre of Lodz University of Technology Foundation, located at ul. Wólczańska 215 in Łódź.
9. We follow the announcements of the Ministry of Science and Education and the National Health Fund on an ongoing basis - in the event of significant changes or information, we will notify you in a separate message.
10. In the case of doubts regarding the coverage of the vaccination program, please contact the Chancellery of the Rector of TUL at office.rector@adm.p.lodz.pl.
Ladies and Gentlemen, a number of people at Lodz University of Technology are working to launch the vaccination process as soon as possible. In many cases, we depend on information from the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Health Fund, and we must adapt our actions to them. I am asking you for understanding and patience.
