Due to the exceptional situation caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus epidemic, based on the Ordinance of the Rector of TUL No. 21/2020 and the Announcement of the Rector of TUL 1/2020, I inform you about the introduction of registering passenger traffic on the TUL Campuses from March 17, 2020 until further notice.
Regarding the dynamic development of the epidemiological situation, we would like to inform that it was decided by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology on February 26 that from March 2 to 15, 2020, Polish students of all forms and fields of studies at Lodz University of Technology
Regarding the developing epidemiological situation connected with COVID-19 infections (pneumonia caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus), I order cancelling departures on business trips abroad for our employees, doctoral students and students, as well the arrivals of visitors from abroad at our University, including doctoral students and students, in each case when cancelling the arrival or visit does not result in financial consequences or other serious negative effects, key for continuing cooperation with the given institution.
Last weekend (7-8.03.2020), two students of Lodz University of Technology residing in Student Residence Halls of Lodz University of Technology were taken to hospital because of suspected COVID-19 infections.
1. An obligation for employees, students and doctoral students who have stayed outside Poland – they are obliged to stay at their place of residence for a period of 14 days starting from the day of return, inform their dean or the head of their unit about it, and follow the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspector.
