Announcement of the Head of the TUL Crisis Management Centre on changes in the organization of correspondence distribution at the Lodz University of Technology of March 27, 2020.

Ladies and gentlemen,

In connection with the escalating situation caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the Main Chancellery of Lodz University of Technology changes the way of the distribution of correspondence between University units  from 30/03/2020 until further notice:

  1. All documents and internal correspondence should be sent in an electronic version using the official e-mail addresses of employees, doctoral students and students. Paper versions of the documents should be retained and forwarded to relevant addressees upon cancellation of this Announcement;
  2. Correspondence addressed to the units of Lodz University of Technology as well as addressed from the units of the University to persons and external institutions will be distributed, but the rules of distribution are changing. Employees of the Main Chancellery will deliver and receive correspondence from designated collection points in the University's buildings. Employees of individual units responsible for maintaining the continuity of their work will be required to deliver correspondence with the register to designated points within a specified time, and then collect correspondence with the register from this point. The location of individual distribution points in the University buildings, as well as the time of delivery and receipt of correspondence will be sent in a separate announcement today.
